Summer, time of vacations, getaways, and chillin’. Everybody loves to get away to the cooler climate up north. But here in Northern Arizona, we’ve also got to contend with the summer fire season. This year’s fire season is expected to be quite severe. We got so little moisture due to the la nina weather pattern this past winter, everything is bone dry. If you are vacationing anywhere in the west this summer, please be careful.
Here at Classy Cabins AZ, there is a no-fire rule in effect. The only fires allowed are in gas grills. Our properties are on the edge of national and state forests, and we also enforce a no-smoking rule – not just inside, but anywhere on our properties.
Remember Smokey’s admonition – “Only YOU can prevent forest fires!”
